It generally takes 7-14 days to produce and deliver your custom order. Every Cottongin t-shirt is the result of a unique tailoring method that takes 110 steps, 4000 stitches, and overall ten times longer than a regular mass-produced t-shirt. The craftsman at Cottongin transfers your measurements onto an individual canvas and using the same construction and sewing techniques that only can be found in bespoke shirts, sew up clean and fine stitches into a single t-shirt, and finish with couture sewing by hand.

All Cottongin’s items are insured against accidental damage while in transit. Once your items have been delivered, they are no longer covered by insurance. If your box is damaged upon arrival, we recommend you either refuse the delivery, or make a note when signing for it that you are accepting a damaged box.

Sea Island Cotton is the finest cotton on Earth that accounts for less than 0.004% of cotton supplies. Tiny quantities of Sea Island Cotton were patiently harvested by people who picked, handled, and sorted them gently by hand, in a traditional way, as many years ago before machinery. These efforts resulted in a unique cotton fiber with exceptionally fine texture, silky finish, and an ultra-soft feel.

Having a Cottongin bespoke t-shirt means that everything is 100% customized to fit you as an individual. We’ve poured decades of our Bespoke drafting knowledge into a machine-learning algorithm to calculate your individual body measurements and create t-shirt size unique to you. Providing with height, weight, and body type computer build your 3-D body model and calculate more than 70 individual measurements, considering all the features of your body shape and morphology. After the measurement stage, the craftsman at Cottongin transfers your measurements onto an individual canvas.

For long life, wash your t-shirt by hand or in a washing machine on a delicate, wool or hand wash cycle at a temperature no higher than 40 degrees.
Use a low or short spin cycle.
Avoid washing with heavy fabrics, such as jeans, towels, terry cloth, and fleece, or with sharp items such as zippers, which can tangle and damage the fiber.
Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach.


Is Caribbean Sea Island cotton more durable than other kinds of cotton?

Caribbean Sea Island Cotton distinguish from all other species of cotton thanks to its unique
characteristics: the considerable staple length of the fiber and the high fiber strength.
These qualities provide not only legendary comfort but greater longevity as well.
In contrast to other kinds of cotton, Caribbean Sea Island cotton does not suffer from inordinate
shrinkage and rapid degradation.
Its durable surface is barely affected by multiple washing, resists wear, and rather smooths over time.

Does Cottongin t-shirt shrink?

To prevent inordinate shrinkage, we pre-shrunk Caribbean Sea Island cotton fibers before tailoring.
That allows reducing shrinkage from 20% down to 2-5%. You can expect minor shrinking when
laundered but not enough to change the sizing.
Important: To prevent shrinkage, wash your Cottongin t-shirt on a delicate, wool, or hand wash cycle at a temperature no higher than 40 degrees.
Use a low or short spin cycle and do not tumble dry. on a hanger to let it air dry naturally.
Keep your garment out of direct sunlight and heat, as the warm temperature.

How to iron Cottongin t-shirt?

We recommend ironing your Cottongin t-shirt inside out to prevent shine marks. Set the iron to the warm temperature (Silk or Cotton temperature option) and press it to your t-shirt using smooth strokes. Ensure that your iron is always mobile and never actually directly touches the fibers of your t-shirt. Cotton in particular benefits from adding some steam or water before ironing, to help smooth and flatten the fibers.

How to properly store your Cottongin t-shirt?

Hang your Cottongin t-shirts in a wardrobe out of direct sunlight. To hang your t-shirts, use wide hangers and insert the hanger from the bottom up to avoid stretching around the neck.

How to remove stains from your Cottongin t-shirt?

Always scoop or blot any excess spills quickly using a dabbing action and a clean cloth or an absorbent towel. To treat a stain, apply small quantities of mild soap or detergent to the stain and blot well. Do not rub with a clean tissue after each application. Work carefully to release stain from edge to center. More stubborn stains may require a commercial stain remover, but you should avoid using chlorine bleach-based products.

How to keep your white Cottongin t-shirts white?

Wash your white Cottongin t-shirts separately. If you want your white t-shirts to stay brilliant and bright, don't mix them with any other colors, even off-whites, to prevent any color leaching.
