The most ancient and exclusive cotton on Earth
Cottongin T-shirt is produced using the Caribbean Sea Island Cotton, incredibly unique and one of the highest possible quality: the cotton fiber is less than 12 microns (the average human hair is about 50 to 80 microns) qualifying as superfine. In the textile world, the smaller the fiber (fewer microns), the softer and more comfortable it is against the skin. Today, the Caribbean Sea Island Cotton represents less than 0.004% of cotton supplies on earth and can cost more than $3000 per bale compared to $400 per regular cotton. Its soft touch, natural silken sheen, and unbelievable comfort are what lead people around the world to pay as much as five times the price of regular cotton garments. Cottongin’s best feature will dazzle you with one touch, once on your skin, you can immediately feel the superior silkiness and softness of this garment.

Personalization
Every Cottongin T-shirt comes with your name and surname delicately embroidered into the inside of your t-shirt and the initials added to the very bottom to make a subtle final touch. It is neat and clean, stitched using the finest threads which go with the same color as the underlying fabric to keep it classy. You are getting a truly unique one-of-a-kind garment. Only those with a tireless obsession with details can fully appreciate that.
MASTERFULLY CRAFTED BY COTTONGIN
Every Cottongin t-shirt is the result of a unique tailoring method that takes 110 steps in the making, 5 artisans involved in the process, and dozen times longer than a regular mass-produced t-shirt. Our craftsmen use the same construction and sewing techniques that only can be found in bespoke shirts. They sew up to 4000 clean and fine stitches into a single t-shirt and finish with couture sewing by hand. For each t-shirt we use two types of high-end Gutterman threads: strong and stretchy on top while delicate and soft inside the T-shirt, to ensure the most comfort on the body. The T-shirt is finished with a silk smooth label and clean neckline collar made from the same Sea Island Cotton to prevent overstretching and curling. Armed with the pair of sharp eyes and a magnifying glass our craftsmen check the finished T-shirt, inch by inch, throughout all stitches and hidden details to ensure unparalleled quality. Only those with a tireless obsession about details can fully appreciate that.

The art of craftsmanship
We have been putting our trust in tailoring eight hours a day, 240 days a year, for over 10 years. To be focused and spend countless hours on a single t-shirt arise personal relationships to the people who are wearing it. In every t-shirt we create, we leave a part of our curiosity, our discoveries, our visions and that’s the great satisfaction of craftsmanship for us.
